Working in IT since 1990, independent SAP Development Consultant Michael Koch has been involved in the SAP arena since 1997. Michael worked on numerous national and multinational SAP projects. During this time he covered various industries including Automotive, FMCG, Entertainment, Insurance, Telecoms, Utilities and High Tech.

His main areas of expertise are custom SAP Development, Interfaces (ALE, IDOCS, XML, Gateway), SAP CRM development, Data Migration, Workflow, BRF+ as well as development and configuration for IS-Automotive, Dealer Business Management (DBM) and Vehicle Management System (VMS). Michael also provides Quality Assurance services for SAP projects (functional, technical and coding reviews), gives advice on SAP Architecture and provides SAP Development training.

In October 2012, SAP Press published Michael’s first book on “ABAP Development for Sales and Distribution in SAP: Exits, BAdIs, and Enhancements” (see link below under Publications).

Michael has been a SAP Mentor since March 2009. The SAP Mentor initiative identifies and provides special status to exceptional and high-value members of SAP Developer Network (SDN), Business Objects (BOBJ) as well as Business Process Expert (BPX) communities.
