What a week this has been&#8230; There were so many news that I had to kick-start the blog press last Tuesday for a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pixelbase.co.uk\/?p=688\">&#8220;Leo Special&#8221; (#leogone)<\/a>. The second half of last week was mainly dominated by discussions whether SAP is now an acquisition target and newsitems regarding further SAP board reshuffles. Let&#8217;s have a look at what we&#8217;ve got&#8230;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Forrester&#8217;s Paul Hamerman reports on the departure of John Schwarz and elevation other board level changes. He also sees a commitment from SAP to <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.forrester.com\/business_process\/2010\/02\/more-sap-leadership-changes-announced.html\">&#8220;changing its meandering position&#8221;<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Redmonk&#8217;s James Governor chimes in with a wonderful summary on Leo Apotheker&#8217;s biggest legacy at SAP: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.redmonk.com\/jgovernor\/2010\/02\/11\/leos-sustainable-legacy-thoughts-on-saps-ceo-changes\/\">Sustainability<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>TechTarget&#8217;s Courtney Bjorlin asks whether SAP would be in a better position <a href=\"http:\/\/itknowledgeexchange.techtarget.com\/sap-watch\/what-if-shai-agassi-never-left-sap\/\">&#8220;if Shai Agassi never left<\/a>&#8220;. This is a conversation that has bounced around the Blogs and Twittersphere for a while now and is a moot point. My take is that Agassi, as disruptive as he has been during his tenure at SAP, created a lot of fronts within the software house. Surely SAP would be different had he remained in power, but I&#8217;m not convinced if it would be a <strong>better place<\/strong> (no pun intended, haha!). I&#8217;m also not sure about the point that is made around &#8220;innovation around SAP&#8221;. SAP&#8217;s Composition Environment does exactly that. It&#8217;s there!<\/li>\n<li>Stop-Rewind-Play: Josh Greenbaum talks about &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/ematters.wordpress.com\/2010\/02\/10\/the-new-sap-restarting-the-post-kagermann-era\/?utm_source=twitterfeed&amp;utm_medium=twitter\">SAP restarts the post-Kagermann&#8221;<\/a> era.<\/li>\n<li>Panaya came up with an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.panayainc.com\/SAP-Blog\/One-in-Two-SAP-Professionals-Expect-Salary-Increase-in-2010.html\">analysis of SAP salaries<\/a>.
